Thanks for your thoughtful reply! I'm asking, because I'm also in the same boat trying to decide between MCIT vs. a combination of ML focused courses + programming bootcamp (for data structures, algos, coding challenges, etc.).

I created a related thread here, but haven't gotten any replies unfortunately!

To your specific point about prior knowledge for the Udacity nanodegree, they offer an intro course that will provide the necessary prerequisites.
