I have taken a few Udacity courses and they are well made. They have a C++ course (both a free one and a paid nanodegree). Udacity C++ Nanodegree

I've been considering this for it since Udacity has a nanodegree specifically for C++.

Assuming that you are well past the basics of C++ consider looking at the below link,

https://www.udacity.com/course/c-plus-plus-nanodegree--nd213

Java is used more widely for two things from what Ive seen secure Enterprise applications that are mostly built with the spring framework or android apps... so you have to ask yourself if those interest you.

As you likely know C++'s claim to frame is robotics, building all or parts of Operating systems or games ( which do not interest me). Those first two obviously take high-level training, or at least id call it that. So how far do you want to go ?

I assure the syntax for Java is not much easier, but there is more 'framework' support.

so the idea is to sign up -- do as much as you can the first 29 days and then cancel your subscription

udemy also has some 1/2 way decent courses
https://www.udemy.com/course/beginning-c-plus-plus-programming/

but NEVER pay full price for them
they ALWAYS go on sale just about every other week

any course that costs $199 today could be $10.99 in two days
just keep checking their site

Have a look at this Udacity nano course:

https://www.udacity.com/course/c-plus-plus-nanodegree--nd213

  • Learn to code 5 projects. Modern C++. C++ concurrency.
  • Very pricey ($1436/4months).
  • Udacity's nano-courses have good reputation.
